Matt Varnish 1651

For supplementary coating of offset inks if matt effects shall be obtained. The varnish can be used both wet on dry as well as wet on wet.

Properties:

• High matt effect
• Fast absorption
• Lowers abrasion of printing plates
• Very good scratch and rub resistance
• Can be used for full-surface (without water) or spot varnishing (with water)

Application:

All offset printing inks can be overprinted. Pile height and amount of powder must be in relation to the film thickness of varnish and ink and to the printing substrate.

By adding 2 % drier 452 drying time can be reduced. EPPO Drier 2001 (5 %) can only be used for spot varnishing with water.
