Effect Varnish 1290

This varnish was especially developed to achieve matt-brilliant effects in combination with Starbrite Inks.

Effect varnish 1290 can be used like conventional printing varnishes in the printing unit.

The areas that shall appear matt on the printed product will be overprinted with effect varnish 1290, the UV-varnish will be printed inline immediately afterwards and then cured.

With an increasing amount of effect varnish applied, the matt effect appears stronger.

Effect varnish 1290 will not dry immediately after the printing even so it is UV-varnished. Therefore the pile height depends on the quantity of varnish that is used as well as the quality of the printing substrate.

Shelf life in seal original container:

6 months at ca. 20−25 °C
